Karl E. Gruhlkey, 58, of Boardman died April 19, 2019 at Akron General Hospital. Karl was born November 22, 1960 in Austin TX, the son of Albert Lee and Bobbie Ann Gruhlkey. He graduated from Anderson High School in Texas.

He later joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country for 6 years while traveling overseas. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns. He was proceeded in death by his father, Lee and his son James Lee Gruhlkey.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Bobbie Gruhlkey of Texas, his son and daughter in-law, Karl and Jillian Gruhlkey of Struthers; three grandchildren, Genavine Mayhew, Rosalyn Gruhlkey and Lincoln Gruhlkey; a brother, Curt ( Terrie) of Texas; a sister, Leeann ( Robert) of Texas and four nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed. A wake will be held on Saturday May 4, 2019 from 2-5:00 p.m. at Piggys 886 Youngstown Poland Road, in Struthers, OH 44471 Arrangements are by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
