Obituary for Karl Maier Karl Rudolf Maier, 91, of Old Bridge passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Roosevelt Care Center, Old Bridge. He was born in Germany and worked for the Voith Company before emigrating to the United States in 1953. Karl lived in Mountainside and Plainfield before settling in Old Bridge 57 years ago and worked as a tool and die maker at Picut Manufacturing Company, Warren.

He was predeceased at a very young age by his mother, Anna Maria (Rothfuss) Maier; his father and step-mother, Gottlob and Barbara (Enz) Maier; sister, Erika (Maier) Gouvernoy; and brother, Gottlob Maier. Karl is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Anneliese (Schmid) Maier; devoted daughter, Ursula Yarmoska and her husband, Bruce; cherished grandson, Steven Karl Yarmoska; and niece, Gudrun (Maier) Hartmann. All services were private and under the direction of the Old Bridge Funeral Home, Old Bridge, NJ.
