Obituary of Karron Brown Karron Marie Brown (nee Scheeser), 71, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away on January 2, 2019. Karron was born in West Lafayette, Indiana to Walter and Elizabeth Scheeser on Janaury 20, 1947. Karron graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1965 and St. Thomas Hospital School of Nursing in 1968 as an RN.

She worked as a nurse until 1983. Around 1989, she discovered a passion for cooking and launched a new career in the culinary arts, retiring in 2006. Karron took great pride in the business she started, Please Your Palate, and the catering she did in many of the homes and businesses in the Hudson area.

As a nurse and a caterer, she found joy in taking care of others however she could. Mostly though, Karron simply loved spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren, and her lifelong friends. Karron is survived by her son Chad Brown (Kristi); daughter Jyl McLaughlin (Rafael); her grandchildren, Grant Brown and Ronan and Eryn McLaughlin; siblings Ellen Ward (Jeff), Maureen Booth, Maryann Goldthwaite (Vinnie), Christopher Scheeser (Angie), and Mitchell Scheeser (Karen).

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Brown, father Walter Scheeser, and mother Elizabeth Scheeser. Funeral service will be held at Redmon Funeral Home in Stow on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 1PM, where family and friends may call from 11AM until service time. Burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cleveland Clinic Hospice or the Victims Assistance Program of Summit County.
