Obituary for Katharina Brown Katharina “Katie” Brown, 83, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, passed from this life on Monday, November 26, 2018 in Las Cruces. She was born on May 27, 1935 in the former West Germany to Kunigunde Herzog and Gustav Andreas Loy. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur Brown Jr.; and brother, Karl Heinz Loy.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Brown and wife Jocelyn; son, Reginald Brown and wife Pira; daughter, Cynthia Elona Marion and husband James; grandchildren, Bianca Sizemore and husband Cody, Nolan Brown, Nevin Brown, Walker Marion, and Dominique Brown; and other family in United States and Germany. During her lifetime, Katie enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, singing, dancing, and arts and crafts. Family and friends whose lives Katie touched are invited to her viewing from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at the Sunset Funeral Home – Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass, El Paso, Texas.
