Katharine “Kathy” DeFord, longtime resident of San Leandro passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday November 14, 2018. Kathy was born April 3, 1957 in Oakland, California to her parents, Delores and Kenneth DeFord. Kathy grew up in Oakland and graduated from Oakland High School, Class of 1975.

Kathy later moved to San Leandro and enjoyed her career at the auto auctions for 20 plus years. Kathy had a passion for traveling, shopping, talking on the phone for hours and cherished the relationships she had with her dear friends. Kathy is survived and will be greatly missed by her beloved daughter Lisa Danielle Jamison, of San Leandro and her cat, Missy.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents older brother, Leonard Allen DeFord and Grandparents, Irving and Margaret Ricardez.
