Katherine Agnes Hartzler October 03, 1943 – May 30, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Katherine Agnes Hartzler, nee Schenk, age 75; passed away comfortably on May 30th 2019 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL due to a sudden illness that compromised her respiratory system. She will be eternally remembered for her exuberant passion for life and being generous with her time and love to family and friends. She is survived by John Thomas Hartzler.

Katherine was the loving mother of Karen Anderson, Janet (Scott) Tulloch, Linda (Peter) McDonagh, John (Carrie) Hartzler, and Rob (Lisa) Hartzler; devoted grandmother of Heather, Allison, Adrian, Katherine, Gracie, Christopher, Cristina, Bradley, Thomas, Jacob, Joshua, and Abigail; great-grandmother of McKenzie and Caia; cherished sister of Edward (Mary) Schenk and Robert (Linda) Schenk. Katherine was predeceased by her beloved parents Robert and Gertrude Schenk. Visitation on Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Skaja Terrance Funeral Home 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL.

Funeral Services Monday June 3, 2019 10:45 AM to Our Lady of Ransom Church 8300 N. Greenwood Ave, Niles, IL. for 11:30 AM Mass. Internment at Ridgewood Memorial Park, 9900 N. Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL.
