OBITUARY Katherine F. Mengelson August 5, 1944 – December 12, 2018 MENGELSON, Katherine F., 74 of Largo passed Dec. 12, 2018. Born August 5, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of Everett and Minnie Marie Baker Kelly.

Kathy was a R.N. and volunteered for 25 years for Suncoast Hospice. She graduated from Ohio State worked as an accountant and bookkeeper and attended Calvary Baptist Church where she spent many years singing in the choir. Kathy was a resident of Arden Courts Memory Care.

She is survived by her son Shawn Culberson, step-son Eric Mengelson and his wife Tracy, step-daughter Elaine Jones, daughter-in-law Malinda Mengelson, grandchildren; Leena Collins, Christopher Mengelson, Jessica Pitman, Wesley Mengelson, Angela Bozeman, Sarah Haddock, Heather Kocher, Justin Davis, Brendon Culberson and Devon Green, great-grandchildren Noah Mengelson, Madison Mengelson, Caroline Bozeman, Trinity Collins, Tallon Collins, Tatum Pitman, Layla Mengelson, Jasmin Mengelson, Harmony Haddock, Melody Haddock and Symphony Haddock. She is pre- deceased by her husband William Mengelson, brother James Everett and step-son John William Mengelson. Visitation will be 1-2 pm Saturday, December 15th at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd.

Clearwater, Florida 33759. Graveside service will follow at 2pm at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
