Obituary for Katheryn Linda Randle Katheryn Linda (Parsons) Randle, 73, died December 4th, 2018 at her home in Granbury, Texas with family by her side. She leaves her husband of 50 years, Jim Randle; her sons, Jay and Taylor; their spouses, Sarah and Jessica; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Andrew; and many close friends. Born in Bessemer, Alabama on January 5th, 1945, Linda attended Bessemer High school and graduated college from Birmingham Southern.

She married her 3rd grade sweetheart, Jim, on December 21st, 1967. Linda and Jim lived in Marietta, Georgia for 30 years before moving to Granbury, Texas in 1997. Linda was devoted to family, friends, and faith and she was a Southern Belle in every sense of the word.

Linda retired from teaching 40 years ago to dedicate herself to raising her children. She was an amazing spouse, mother, grandmother, and friend; always there to offer encouragement, guidance on proper etiquette (“how to do”), and focus on the positive side of life. Linda was a founding member of the Birthday Babes, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), Prayer Shawl Ministry, and made an honorary member of the Daughters of the King.

A memorial mass will be held Friday, December 7th at 11:00am at the Good Shepherd Anglican Church in Acton, Texas. A second memorial service will be held at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Bessemer, Alabama – date to be determined.
