Kathleen A. Kato, age 72 years, died Monday, December 10, 2018 at McLaren-Bay Region with her family by her side. She was born on October 27, 1946 to the late Charles and Mildred (Vandenboom) Pawlak. Kathy graduated from Bay City Central High School Class of 1963.

She was a member of All Saints Parish (St. James Church) and volunteered at the Bay Area Agency on Aging. Kathy retired from the Bay City Public Schools after many years of service.
