She was 70. Kathleen was born in Chicago, IL on October 31, 1948, a daughter of the late James King, a Chicago police officer, and Virginia King.

As a graduate Registered Nurse from Harper College in Palatine, IL, Kathleen was the consummate healthcare professional. She unselfishly served the medically needy for 31 years in healthcare facilities in both Illinois and Florida. She loved Halloween.

Surviving Kathleen is her loving husband Loyl (Buddy), three daughters, Jessica, Lora, and Lisa and twelve grandchildren. The family will receive friends during a gathering to celebrate her life on Friday, May 3, 2019, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Babione Funeral Home in Boca Raton, FL. Visitation will be held at G.L. Hills Funeral Home 745 Graceland Ave, Des Plaines, IL on Tuesday, May 7th from 9:00 a.m. until time of Service at Noon.

Kathleen will be laid to rest at All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL following services. For information 847. 699.
