Obituary for Kathleen Kay Beaudry Kathleen “Kay” Beaudry, 82, of Northport passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Kay was born January 14, 1936 to Fraser and Margaret (Trout) Pomeroy in Detroit, MI. She married Donald Beaudry on September 6, 1958 in Birmingham, MI and together they celebrated 59 years of marriage.

Kay will be fondly remembered for her sunny disposition, infectious spirit, eager smile, joyous sense of humor. She was the consummate mother and wife always making sure that her family’s needs were met. She volunteered her time and talents to the Red Cross of Flint, Hospice of Flint and the Flint Antique Study Group.

After moving to Northport in 1991 she volunteered at Trinity Church in Northport, Leelanau Memorial Hospital, Woman’s Auxiliary of Leelanau and the Woman’s Club in Northport. You could count on her lending a helping hand to anyone that was in need. Kay is survived by her husband, daughter Katherine (Michael ) Haynes; son Kirk Beaudry; brothers David Pomeroy and Robert Pomeroy; sister Mary Lu King and granddaughter Ashton Beaudry, and 2 great grandsons Jaxson and Joel.

She was preceded death by her parents. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Trinity Church in Northport, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Those wishing an expression of sympathy are encouraged to direct contributions to the Trinity Church of UCC, P.O.
