Kathleen Stodolski, 66, of Colchester, passed away on July 26, 2018 in New London. Born in New London on August 14, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Emily (Ruszala) Popek. She was predeceased by her brothers, Michael and Donald Popek.

Kathy will be remembered with love by her husband of 40 years, Stephen; her children; Kristen and her husband, Scott Hunter of Old Lyme, Peter Stodolski of Simsbury and Shana Stodolski of Granby; and a grandson, Sean Hunter. Kathy loved being with her family. She was a proud graduate of UCONN, but most importantly, Kathy loved her grandson, Sean; they were the best of pals.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday (July 31st) directly at St. Andrew Church, 128 Norwich Ave. , Colchester. Burial will follow in the Salem Green Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Smilow Cancer Hospital, 230 Waterford Pkwy. , S., Waterford, CT 06385. The Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester has been entrusted with care of arrangements.
