OBITUARY Kathleen M. Rasmussen February 3, 1944 – October 12, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Kathleen M. Rasmussen, of Islip Terrace, Long Island, New York on Friday, October 12, 2018. She now joins her late husband Carl. Their’s was a marriage of 27 years , now forever together.

Loving mother of Carl (Kimberley) and Cheryl. Cherished grandma of Christina (Adam). Adored sister to Al Davies, Hope Gallager (the late Mike), Joyce Perna (Andy), June Hulse (Spencer) and Theresa Gallatro.

Loved and missed by many nieces and nephews. Kathleen enjoyed cooking and baking, puzzles, painting and most of all her scratch offs. Her Saturday night dinners were her favorite.

When she wasn’t having fun at home, she was at Southside Hospital, Bay Shore, New York where she worked for 27 years in housekeeping, helping those in need. Family and friends may visit Tuesday, October 16, 2018, 2-4:30pm and 7-9:30pm, at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Homes, 255 Higbie Lane, West Islip, New York 11795. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, 10:00am, at St Mark’s Episcopal Church, 745 Montauk Highway, Islip, New York 11751.

Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, New York 11933. www. boyd-spencerfuneralhome.com.
