Obituary of Kathleen Riley KATHLEEN K. RILEY Latham-Kathleen Kelleher Riley, 84 of Latham, beloved wife of the late Peter B. Riley, entered into eternal life on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Kingsway Nursing Home in Schenectady. Born in Glens Falls, NY on December 11, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Bruce) Kelleher. She received her bachelor’s degree in education from the College of St. Rose.

Kathleen was the reading teacher with the Waterford Central School district for over 16 years and retired in 1989. She received a national award for her reading program in the Waterford School district. She was a member of the University Club in Albany and loved gardening, her swimming pool, outdoor activities and was an avid follower of politics.

She and her late husband were communicants of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham. Survivors include her loving children Mary Ellen (Dominick) Mamone and Eileen (Harlan) Hall, her six beautiful granddaughters Alissa Clark, Deanna Clark, Courtney Mamone, Elizabeth Walther, Caroline Walther and Samantha Mamone. She is survived by her brother John Kelleher, sister-in-law Betsy (John Rivett) Riley, cousins Rev.

Arthur Toole, Sister Mary Bruce CSJ, Janet Bruce and several nieces. In addition to her husband Kathleen was predeceased by her brother Joseph Kelleher. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday January 24, 2019 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham with Rev.

Geoffrey Burke officiating. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, Ltd., 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY. Interment Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY.
