(Nee Gorman) Born March 2, 1926 in Madison, WI, the fourth child of seven, and third daughter to Steve and Anne (nee Plein) Gorman; passed from this Earth December 31, 2018, surrounded by loving family members. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, George Ramponi Sr. Loving mother of George Ramponi, Patricia (Tom) Singleton, Donna (Steve) Wells, Debra (Kurt) Daugherty, Jeanne Ramponi, and Maria (Nusret) Ademi. Grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 8.

She is also survived by her sister, Rita Peck and her sister-in-law, Elvira Kaczmarek. Kaye was an active parent at Willowglen School in St. Francis, which her 6 children attended, becoming PTA President from 1962 to 1964. She loved all children, becoming the “neighborhood mother and grandmother” at her home on Rutland Avenue, where she lived for nearly 70 years.

She was a Cub Scout leader, band booster and caring neighbor. She was the office manager at Wolf’s Dry Cleaning in St. Francis from 1970 to 1991. When she retired she shared with children her lifelong love of books as the full-time volunteer librarian at Immaculate Conception School.

In later years Kaye stocked the shelves of her Little Free Library with books free to both adults and children. An avid gardener, Kaye each year planted in her yard a wide assortment of beautiful and fragrant flowers. She loved cooking, especially her famous lasagna.

Her coffee was always perking and her cakes and cookies were always ready for her many friends and family members. Visitation at the Funeral Home, Friday, January 4, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Time of sharing at 6:30 PM.

Additional visitation Saturday, January 5, 2019 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1720 East Norwich Avenue from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM. Interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
