Kathryn’s Obituary Kathryn Ann (Kreibich) Brinkman, 66, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019, at her home in Dresbach, MN. Kathy was born in La Crosse, WI on November 18, 1952 to Clarence and Lucille (Weiker) Kreibich. She was married to Jim Adamson on August 5, 1972 and later divorced.

She married Kerry Brinkman on January 25, 1999. Kathy graduated from La Crescent High School and later attended Western Wisconsin Technical College where she earned a degree in Information Technology. She was employed at Mayo Health Center until she retired in 2018.

Kathy had a strong work ethic and was instrumental in creating an office that digitized manual files. She enjoyed starting new projects and finished her career working in the Quality Department. Kathy loved exploring new places.

She and Kerry would venture on car trips to unknown destinations, only to find quaint little restaurants where they would enjoy lunch together. Kathy loved practicing hot yoga at Rootdown in La Crosse. Traveling with her family was a blessing in her life, especially with her grandchildren.

She treated each grandchild to their own vacation with her. Kathy enjoyed playing cards at family holidays. Kathy had a kind heart and was an extremely caring person.

She will be deeply missed. Kathy is survived by her two daughters, Erin (Christin) Collis of Hixson, TN, Kristin (Matt) Phillips of Brownsville, MN, three grandchildren, Cayden, Ewan, and Payton, husband Kerry Brinkman, mother Lucille Kreibich, siblings Mark Kreibich, Deborah (Jeff) Covey, Bill (Sandy) Kreibich, Paul (Gene Roe) Kreibich, Tom (Leslie) Kreibich, sister-in-law Sharon (Douglas) Langher, brother-in-law Russell (Gretchen) Brinkman, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Clarence Kreibich, brother Garry Kreibich, and sister Jane Weisbrod.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on January 25th at Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home, 111 So Oak Street, La Crescent, MN. There will be a private service for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, (NAMI Wisconsin) 4233 W Beltline Hwy, Madison, WI 53711.
