Aside from her undaunted spirit and fun-loving personality everyone close to Kathryn knew she was a devoted mother, loving daughter and beloved sister. A native Charlottean, Kathryn made her debut into this world on March 13, 1945 as the daughter of the late Robert Rowe Beatty Jr. and Sarah Fisher Beatty; granddaughter of Robert Rowe Beatty Sr. and Helen Hamilton Brem Beatty, all of Charlotte, NC, and Louis Archibald Fisher and Fay Polk Fisher of Concord, NC.
