Kathryn Hurd-Ward, age 94, of Southfield, Michigan passed away on March 8, 2019 at Oakmont Sterling, Sterling Heights, Michigan. She was born on May 25, 1924 in Welch, West Virginia. Beloved Wife of George Ward.

Dear Step-mother of David (Melissa) Ward and Shirley (Robert) Frank. Grandmother of 15, Great-Grandmother of 24 and Great-Great-Grandmother of 5. Kathryn is pre-deceased by her first husband, Thomas Hurd and her daughter, Susan Carlson.

She was a long time member of the Church of Christ Community. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 10th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Monday, March 11th from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Rev.
