Nina Katherine Cooper, age 66, died Sunday, March 3, 2019 at her home in Overton, Nevada. She was born December 25, 1952 in Durango, Colorado to Melvin Gene and Mary Margaret Hill Wall. On November 5, 1968 she married David Mack Cooper in Durango.

Kathy grew up in Durango, Phoenix, Arizona and Torrence, California. She raised her family in Durango until relocating to Las Vegas in 1988 and finally to Overton in 1992. Kathy and her family loved the outdoors, camping and being on the lake, water skiing and boating.

She enjoyed the service and fellowship of being in the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She loved her Snauzer dogs, but her greatest joy came from being with her grandchildren and family. Survivors include her husband, David of Overton; son, Jeromy Cooper of Durango, CO; daughter, Tawnia (Eddie) Steffen of Elko, NV; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and numerous adopted grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: Keith (Delores) Wall of OR; Kimberly (Darren) Johnson of AZ and Kelly (Jim) Barron of ID.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Shawna; son, David and brother, Kevin. The family is planning a Celebration of Life in her Honor on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Overton Park. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.
