Obituary for Kathy (Katy) Lynn Pirkle Kathy Lynn (Katy) Pirkle was born in Muskogee Oklahoma on August 25, 1963 to William (Bill) and Betty (Henderson) Pirkle. She passed away after a lengthy illness on May 18, 2018. Kathy graduated from Fort Gibson High School in 1981 and the University of Oklahoma School of Music in 1986.

After graduation Kathy spent most of her adult life in the Oklahoma City area working for Hartford Insurance until falling ill and returning to Fort Gibson. Kathy loved OU football, music and cats. She is preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her mother Betty of Fort Gibson, her brother Steve and wife Crystal and her niece and nephews: Marissa, Tristan and Austin Pirkle all of Broken Arrow, and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. A brief memorial service will be held at Clifford Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Gibson on Tuesday, May 22, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Don Blankenship officiating. The family of Kathy Lynn Pirkle has entrusted her cremation and services to Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home, Fort Gibson.
