OBITUARY Kathy S. Rigdon October 14, 1951 – January 2, 2019 Kathy Schenck Rigdon, formerly of Snellville, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2019, at her home in Tampa, Fl, after a valiant three year battle with breast cancer. Kathy, who grew up in Warner Robins, was born on October 14, 1951, and was beloved and admired by all who knew her. Kathy retired from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, in 2004 as a Special Agent in Charge in Atlanta.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held Sunday, January 20, 2019, 2 pm, at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, 3694 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA. Survivors include husband, Robley Rigdon, daughter, Stephanie Rigdon Smoot, sons, Rob and Mack, brother, Larry Schenck, cherished grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her Girlfriends. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in Kathy’s memory to Open Arms, a ministry where Kathy volunteered, in care of Hyde Park United Methodist Church, 500 Platt ST, Tampa, FL 33606.
