. Kay M. (Delger) Malerich, 72 of Corvallis, MT, passed away February 9, 2019 due to complications of ovarian cancer at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospice Center in Hamilton, Montana. Kay was born February 4, 1947 in Townsend, Montana the daughter of the late Loren I. and Helen B. Delger.

She graduated Valedictorian from Broadwater County High School on May 25, 1965. Kay went on to graduate in 1969 from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science Degree as a Registered Medical Technologist. She worked in the University of MN / Fairview Hospital Lab for 41 years and was Night Supervisor at the time of her retirement.

Kay was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, knitting and crafts including flower arranging. She was preceded in death by her parents, Loren I and Helen B. Delger; sister, Joan Schritz and a niece, Kristy Delger. Surviving include her husband, Jerry of Corvallis, MT; sisters, Peggy (Doug) Lienemann, Beth (Ken) Lamping, Lois (Jeff) Demars, Nancy Delger; brothers, Pat Delger, Harvey (Nancy) Delger, Allen (Gail) Delger and Mike (Julie) Delger; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved German Shepherd, Sugar.

Private family urn placement will take place at a later date. The family suggests memorials to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.
