Obituary for Kay Tyson Bachman Kay Tyson Bachman passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018. She was born in Tampa, Florida, to Mary Frances and H. Lynton Tyson. She attended Ole Miss and then graduated from the University of Florida.

After teaching for many years, she married beloved husband Robert Ellis Bachman. They had two children, Elizabeth Caruthers and Kristina Jung. Kay loved ballet from a young age, and danced her entire life.

Her love of dancing was only matched by her love of her family and pets. She worked hard to provide a nurturing environment and a good life for all. Kay was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, and her parents.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, beloved grandchildren Mary and Robbie, sisters Lyn McCall and Molly Senn, and her niece and nephews. Service will be held at the DFW National Cemetery on Tuesday, November 6, at 11:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Dallas SPCA or Texas Ballet Theater.
