Keith Hammond Brown, 77, died Thursday, October 11, 2018 in Scenic, AZ. He was born July 27, 1941 in Haybrook Co., MN to Kenneth and Mable Brown. Upon graduating from high school, Keith enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1960.

During his military service, he married his wife, Emily on May 1, 1961 and settled in Salt Lake City, UT after his honorable discharge in 1964. He worked at the Utah Power & Light for over thirty years, until he retired in 1997. Two years later, he and Emily moved to Scenic, AZ.

They loved this community and enjoyed their time here, often to go bowling. He and Emily were dedicated members of the River Valley Bible Church. Keith began work as a security officer at the Casa Blanca and the Virgin River Casino.

Keith also loved hunting and boating his whole life. Keith is survived by his wife of fifty-one years; Emily Brown, his daughters; Kelly (Howard) Johansen of West Jordan, UT and Brandy Brown of Duluth, MN, his brother, Phil (Dixie) Brown of Tonasket, WA, Gene Brown, of Elmo, UT, his eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son; Lance Brown.

A Celebration of Life will be held at River Valley Bible Church, 322 Hafen Lane Mesquite, Nv on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their Guest Book at www. virginvalleymortuary.com.
