Kelly’s Obituary Kelly Don Burford, 51, of Leeton, Johnson, Missouri passed away Monday evening, , December 17, 2018, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence,Missouri Kelly was born July 25, 1967, Warrensburg, Johnson, Missouri, son of Billy Dean and Loretta Maye (Fowler) Burford. He attended Leeton Grade School, and High School. Kelly was united in marriage to Holly Ann White on September 29, 2007 at the First Baptist Church, Leeton, Johnson, Missouri.

To this union twins were born; Kalista Ann and Seanna Maye. He also has three step-children; Matthew David Keller of Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri, Leah Renae {Keller} Gardner {Kevin}, Chilhowee, Johnson, Missouri, and Bruce Stewart Spear {Chantel}, Kansas City, Johnson, Missouri. He was a member of the Christian Church of Leeton.

His most enjoyable moments were when they were spent with his girls, Tuffy and Hot Rod. Kelly was an avid lover of Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and his passion was restoring older models of vehicles. He enjoyed traveling to different states on his favorite purple motorcycle that he built and custom painted himself.

He was able to attend several different Sturgis Bike Rallies. He won many trophies for best looking bike, and other categories. He also enjoyed relaxing in his recliner, and spending hours listening to music, and playing his harmonica.

Most of his life, he worked in construction, and was currently working as laborer for Roy Carlyle. Survivors include his daughters, Kalista Ann Burford and Seanna Maye Burford of Leeton; mother, Loretta Burford of Leeton, sisters; Deborah Deanne Bodenhamer and husband, Gary, of Leeton, Kimberly Sue Tomes and husband Jim, of Jones, Oklahoma, brother Darryl Dean Burford and wife Teresa of Leeton, several loved nieces, nephews and three step-chidren. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Dean Burford, his step father, Donald Eugene Burford and a great niece, Brijae De’Andrea Carpenter.

Graveside services will be December 29, 2018 at 10 AM at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Warrensburg, Missouri. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with details still being planned. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Kelly Burford Memorial Fund with checks made payable to Loretta Burford and can be left in care of Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home.
