Kelly Reddy of Buckland passed away Sunday, November, 25 after a long illness. Kelly was born August 29, 1974 in Greenfield, to parents David and Phyllis Reddy of Buckland. Kelly graduated Mohawk Trail Regional High School class of 1992 and University of Massachusetts, Amherst class of 1996 with a degree in marketing.

After graduating UMASS Kelly lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia and Chico, California before moving home to western Massachusetts. Kelly was an avid runner. She ran cross country and track at Mohawk and completed a few marathons.

Kelly loved reading and literature, especially children’s literature, fairy tales and Harry Potter. Her favorite book was Anna Karenina. She worked at the Arms Library in Shelburne Falls throughout high school and college.

Kelly loved spending time outside in nature and traveling. She loved animals including horses and bird watching and had a special bond with the Reddy family English Springer Spaniels. Kelly is survived by parents David and Phyllis Reddy of Buckland and sisters Sheri and Susie(Greg McCain)Reddy, cousin Eric Wright, several aunts and uncles and many cousins.

She was predeceased by baby Michael Reddy. The Reddy Family would like to thank Kathy Wall and her family for their love and support. Kelly loved Aunt Kathy’s “cookie of the month”.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Arms Library or Hospice of Franklin County in memory of Kelly Reddy. A private service will be held at a later date.
