OBITUARY Ken Jarrell January 13, 1951 – January 3, 2019 May the Luck of the Irish be with You Raymond Kenneth Jarrell, Jr, 67, passed away on January 2, 2019 of natural causes. Ken was the only son of Raymond and Dorothy Jarrell. He graduated from Kearns High School, College of Eastern Utah, and the University of Utah with degrees in Psychology and Nursing Sciences.

He spent his entire career serving others through nursing. Ken loved to travel, the arts and to make others laugh. He never met a stranger.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and his life partner, Joe Parkinson. He is survived by his sisters, Annette Kirts, Kathleen Gillman, and Mary Jarrell; nine nieces and nephews; twelve great-nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends worldwide. Special thanks to Mark and Bob for all the love and care they lavished on Ken during his last few months.

A Celebration of Life and inurnment will be held Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah, followed by a short social gathering.
