The interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. The Legendary Kendell T. Mack known as Troy, but some called him K-Mack, was born July 18, 1975 in New York, NY but raised in Pineville South Carolina. He was educated in public schools, attended St. Stephens where he was a member of the Rams marching band when he was scouted by the late Coach Marvin Dingle.
Coach told him he was too big of a guy not to be on the football field. Thus, began his journey in football. Kendell also had a passion for basketball as well.
Throughout high school, Kendell received a host of awards and trophies for his endeavors in both basketball and football, including a rim that could not bear the weight of his greatness. (I do believe it ended basketball camp a little early that year). Upon graduation in 1994, he received a full scholarship to Auburn University, Alabama to play football and later in his senior year because he was a gifted athlete he also played basketball.
Kendall earned his B.S degree in Exercise Science. He was drafted into the NFL with the New England Patriots, and during off season he traveled oversees to play with NFL Europe Scottish Claymores and Frankfurt Galaxy (2001-02). Kendell later signed on with Tampa Bay Buccaneers playing for 2 years.
He was a member of the fraternity, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and Motorcycle Club: and Vemon Ryderz MC (former Vice President). He worked with Tampa General Hospital, as Counseling Mentor, GAF, Allied Barton, owner of Mack Supreme Property Maintenance, Professional Security Guard (Mirage, Blue Martin, Manila, 1828, Cotton Club, etc. .
), Personal Body Guard (Louie), Buddy’s, and (present) White Sands Tampa Treatment Center, Plant City, FL (Team Lead). On July 4, 2009, Mr. Mack met his current wife, Katrina Mack. They were wed in holy matrimony on September 18, 2011 and remained married until his passing.
Kendell and Katrina (The K-Mack’s) shared a magnetic devotion destined to inspire what Love is. An outgoing, spiritual, loving, humble, wise, supportive, carefree, gentle giant who solemn purpose was to embrace life at its fullest. He loved to spend time with family and share his travels experiences and pass his wisdom along to his family and friends.
During his life, Kendell has met and brought joy to everyone he came across. He was a big man with an even bigger heart. To know him was to love him.
