Swatzell, 86, of Oologah passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019 in Collinsville. He had lived in Oologah since 2008. He was born in Claremore, OK on August 28, 1932 to William and Maude Belle (Hollenbeck) Swatzell.

In his late teens, he was a Horse Racing Jockey before joining the Navy during the Korean War. He enjoy fishing and playing golf. Visitation will be noon to 8:00, Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Plodinec officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Oologah. He is survived by 3 children: Clayton Swatzell and his wife Eileen of Overland Park, KS, Brenda Keskeaw and her husband Jeff of Owasso and Mark Swatzell and his wife Rae of McHenry, IL.

4 Grandchildren: Sara Dustman and her husband Adam, Wendy Biggs and her husband Justin, Christopher Swatzell and Jake Swatzell. 4 great-grandchildren: LillyAnne Biggs, Benjamin Biggs, Ayden Dustman and Owen Dustman. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bonita Swatzell and 2 granddaughters: Renee Kuhn and Amy Swatzell.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
