Kenneth J. Darnell age 87 of Griffith passed away on Monday, October 29 2018. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Phyllis; children Carla (Bob) Jerred, Mary Darnell, Andrea Darnell, Tom (Becky) Darnell, Daniel (Karen) Darnell, and Theodore Darnell; Stepchildren Timothy (Melanie) Obermeyer, and Ruth (Paul) Maywald; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and by his brother Terry (Colleen) Darnell. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Susie; brother Harold; sisters Sharon and Margaret; and by his grandson Christopher.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday November 8, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue in Griffith. Kenneth retired from IHB Railroad and the United States Postal Service, Griffith Branch. He loved golf, golfing, and even more golf.
