Kenneth’s Obituary Kenneth Michael Schnitger of Aurora Colorado and formerly of Belle Fourche died unexpectedly at the Kingman Regional Medical Center in Kingman Arizona on April 29, 2019 from complications of Graves Desease. Ken was born on January 23, 1974 in Deadwood, SD to William and Donna (Smith) Schnitger. He joined 3 other siblings, Kathryn, Eugene and Norman.

He was educated in Belle Fourche Public Schools and graduated in 1992. While in high school Ken participated in football, wrestling and softball. After graduation he worked for various machinery and construction firms in Arizona and Colorado.

In 2007 he married Nicoal Refvem in Thornton, CO and two children were born to this union, Caitlyn 12 and William 10. At the time of his death Ken was working for C& S Sweeping in Phoenix AZ. He operated asphalt grinders and also did maintenance.

While Ken enjoyed working on hotrods, cheering for the Colorado Buffs and Pittsburgh Steelers and visits with his friends, the absolute of his joy were his children, Caitlyn and William. Ken is remembered for his often, inappropriate sense of humor and his huge heart and generosity. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Donna and his grandparents.

Survivors include his daughter, Caitlyn and son, William of Henderson CO; his sister, Kathryn Ann (Larry) Johnson of Rapid City; brothers, William Eugene Schnitger and Norman Morris Schnitger both of Belle Fourche; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and numerous special friends who were like extended family and his classmates from the class of 1992. A Celebration of Life and sharing of memories will be held on Saturday, July 6 at 11:00 am at the Kline Funeral Chapel, 838 State St. Belle Fourche.
