OBITUARY Kenneth Otto Smith July 17, 1944 – September 27, 2018 Smith, Kenneth O. Age 74 of St. Paul, Minnesota, passed peacefully on September 27, 2018 at Lynnhurst Estates in St. Paul. Kenneth was born in St. Paul to Kenneth C. & Etta M. (Peters) Smith on July 17, 1944. He attended North St. Paul High School and went on to join the U.S. Army.

Ken owned and operated his own pizza place, Earl’s Pizza on Grand Avenue in St. Paul for a number of years as well as Sweetheart Pizza Villa in Rugby, ND prior to moving back to MN. He worked in sales most of his life. Ken played the accordion and loved music.

As a teen, he would work as a caddy at Keller Golf Course and would play his accordion for tips. He enjoyed time at the driving range and mini-golfing with his children. Another great joy of Ken’s was fishing.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Carleen. He is survived by children, Carl (Marcia), Matt (Laura), Joel (Shelly), Ben (Cortney), Desiree (Clint Engelbretson), Sam (Jessica); grandchildren, Jesse, Dakota, Anthony, Jeremiah, Josiah, Gabriella, Lincoln, Dylan, Kayla, Selena, Justice, Madison & Autumn; nephews, Randy (Sarah) Mallum and Jeremy Arneberg; also by many loving relatives and friends. Memorial Service: 2PM, Friday, 10/5/18 with visitation 1 hour prior, at Sunset Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2250 St. Anthony Blvd.
