Beloved husband of Marcia Schapendonk (nee Granger) for 46 years. Loving father Joy (Robert) Petersen, Mark (Mary) Schapendonk. Cherished grandfather of John, Cassidy, Jack, Nathan, Maya and Danny.

Dear brother of Marilyn (Robert), John (Patricia), Robert (Marianne), Margaret Horning, Mary Schapendonk and the late Barbara (John) Jurgevich. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Saturday November 10th 9:00am until time of Funeral Service at 12:30pm at the Maher Funeral Home 17101 S. 71st.

Tinley Park. Interment private. Please omit flowers.
