OBITUARY Kenneth Schimnowski September 22, 1924 – September 28, 2018 Kenneth went to his heavenly home on September 28, 2018. He was born in Mt. Lake, MN on September 22, 1924 to Frank and Katie Schimnowski.

Kenneth spent his years in Minnesota as a butcher. After moving to Texas in 1962, he pursued a career in refrigeration and air conditioning and retired from Montgomery Ward as a refrigeration and air conditioning specialist. In his retirement, he loved fishing, woodworking, barbequing, and playing with his pet dog Tooter.

Kenneth is survived by: Son Kenneth Roger and his wife Cristina of Denison, TX and daughter Diane Kay Schimnowski of Deer Park, TX, granddaughters Amanda Embrey and husband Jeffrey of Seabrook, TX, LaFonda Ledger and husband Chris of Henderson, TX, Melissa Elliott and husband Eric of Sherman, TX, and Cassandra Reeve and wife Tanisha of Weatherford, TX. Kenneth also leaves behind six great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Carol, son Darrel Jay Schimnowski of Rusk, TX, sisters Crystal and Caroline and brother Melvin.

A private graveside service will be held for family members only at Forest Park East Cemetery at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, TX on October 4, 2018 at 11:00 am. I lieu of flowers, please donate to a favorite hospice organization.
