Kenneth W. Shrum September 22, 1927 – January 16, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Kenneth “Kenny” Shrum passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at the age of 91. Kenny was the dear husband of Betty Meyerpeter-Shrum and the late Margie Fitts-Shrum. Father of Dennis (Linda) Shrum, Karen (Richard) Goeke and Donna Shrum.

He was a Step-Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle. Kenny was a World War II Veteran. He was a life-time member of the Allied Auto Racing Association, officer of the Saint Charles County Sheriff Department and a Captain of the Saint Charles Rescue Squad.

Kenny served on the Lincoln County Central Committee, was a member of the Lincoln County Democrat Club, and a member of the Saint Louis Auto Racing Fan Club. He was a Stock car Champion. He was a Member of Friends of Emmaus and a volunteer at the Washington University Memory & Aging Study.
