Obituary for Kennneth Dale Davenport Kenneth Dale Davenport 68 of Attalla went home to be with the Lord Monday, September 10, 2018. He was a loving husband, father and paw paw and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Kenneth retired from the US Postal Service with 39 years of service.

His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Cox Chapel Methodist Church with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Bro. Jeff Chamblee and Bro.

Jerry Wood will be officiating. Visitation will be 5 until 8 Wednesday, September 12, 2108 at Cox Chapel Church and Thursday 12 until 2 before the service at the church. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 49 years Patricia Davenport, Children: Stacey Davenport and Kevin Davenport, Grandchildren: Haley Scott, Cadiance Massey, Great Grandchild: Brantley Slaten, Special Friend: Ronnie Massey.

Pallbearers will be Junior Tomlinson, Donald Wright, Don Hill, Terry Hill, Wayne Kitchens and Danny Gaskin. He is preceded in death by his parents: Emmett and Faye Davenport A special thanks to Gadsden Regional Medical Center MICU Nurses and Staff, Sand Valley Volunteer Fire Department, family and friends for all of their help.
