Kim Marie Joynes, 61, of McDonald, passed away on Sunday afternoon, October 28, 2018, at her mother’s residence after a prolonged illness. Kim was born July 23, 1957, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Don and Dixie (Windle) Kosovec. She was a 1975 graduate of McDonald High School.

Kim had worked for Dairy Mart in Cortland, various local bars, and was an STNA at Shepherd of the Valley. Throughout these jobs she formed long lasting relationships with those she came in contact with. To Kim these were not just jobs, but outlets to fulfill her love to connect with other people.

She was a Cleveland sports enthusiast, and most of all enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren participate in sporting events and activities. She will be deeply missed by her mother, Dixie Kosovec, her siblings; Jeff, Laurie (Mark), and Donnie (Kari), her four children; Jaimie (John) Williams, Jason, Josh, and Kyle Joynes, and her two grandchildren; Luke, and Ava Williams. Kim is preceded in death by her father Don Kosovec.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 1st, 7:00 PM, at Blackstone Funeral Home, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 PM until the time of service.
