Kokeeta Jackson was born October 16, 1938 in Durham NC, daughter of the late Mary Walker and Polly Allen, and wife of the late John C Jackson. She entered in to eternal life December 12, 2018 in Mt Sinai Medical Center in New York City. She spent the early part of her adult years working at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City.

She showed her love for her family through cooking. Mrs. Jackson is survived by her five children, Crystal Desilva, Vanessa Cadlett, Felicia Jackson, Profus Cadlett III and Penny Cadlett. Four grandchildren Danita Cadlett, Profus Cadlett IIII, Michael Arlen Desilva Jr. and Jonathan Cadlett.

Ten great-grandchildren , Anyah McDaniels, Michael Arlen Desilva III, Makhi Desilva, Che J Stephens, Sierra Cadlett, Nia Armstead, Ava Cadlett, Liberty Desilva, Ariana Cadlett, and Major Desilva. Her brother Willard Allen precedes her in death, his surviving spouse Hatti Allen. She was blessed to be survived by her Uncle James Isler, aunts Willie May Isler, and Donna Isler , cousins Tanya Isler, Kokeeta Isler, Jason Isler and Gerard Isler, and niece Nicole Cadlett.

And a host of extended family members and friends.
