Kristin “Krissy” Lea Grammer Evans, 38, of Carterville, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville, with Pastor Glen Aulgur officiating. Burial will be in Dutch Ridge Cemetery in Pomona.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church in Carterville. Kristin was born July 3, 1980, in Herrin, to William “Bill” and Carmen (Coffey) Grammer.

She is survived by her children, Karigan Wright, Karleigh Jo McClaren, and Kamdin and Kylar Evans; parents, Bill and Carmen Grammer of Carterville; sisters, Jessica (Tony) Kessler, Cassie Grammer and Mandi Jo Grammer, all of Carterville; brothers, Bryon (Samantha) Grammer of Millington, Tennessee and Brent (Ashley) Grammer of Carbondale; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Kristin was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rondell and Daisy Grammer and Raymond and Janet Coffey. She had worked as a LPN for several area physicians.
