La Rae Bigler Somers, passed away at South Lincoln Medical Center in Kemmerer, Wyoming on June 15, 2018 at the age of 87. La Rae was born on June 8, 1931 in Auburn, Wyoming, the daughter of Arnold and Luella Bigler. She married Wesley G. Somers on April 15, 1951 and they had four children, Rick, Kim, Kelly, and Pam.

She graduated from Kemmerer High School in 1949 and worked at Kemmerer Hotel & Drug, Witherspoon Motor, LCSD # 1, The Kemmerer Coal Company, and Kemmerer Recreation Center. La Rae is survived by her son Rick (Veronica) Somers, and daughters, Kim and Pam Somers, a granddaughter, Chris (Jake) Rees, granddaughter, Lindsey Somers, and a grandson, Dru Somers. She is also survived by great grandson Jackson Rees, a great granddaughter, Olivia Rees, a brother, Kenard (Carol) Bigler and family, a sister Eve (Ron) Hale and family, and her sister Sue Cannon’s surviving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Kelly, a sister, Sue Cannon and a nephew, Terry Bigler. La Rae’s wishes were to be cremated and a private celebration of La Rae’s life will take place at a later date. Online condolences may be left at ballfamilychapel.com.
