Obituary for Lafayette Holloman Sr. Print Mr. Lafayette Holloman, Sr. departed this life on Friday, February 15, 2019. He was born in Hertford County,North Carolina to Ray and Reatha Holloman. He attended High School and later met and married Annie Mae Boone on January 13, 1950.

In this union twelve children were born. He and his family relocated to Boston, Massachusetts in 1957 and attended St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church and was a faithful member for many years. In 2004, he joined True Light Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastor James T. Wilson, Sr

He attended bible study and Sunday school earnestly. He retired from Dorchester Tire Services, had a love for automotive repairs and enjoyed watching western movies. His greatest love was for his wife and family.

Special acknowledgment of his grandson Jarvis M. Holloman-Slash, (Doobie), who took extra time, patience and extreme care of his granddaddy for years. We love, honor and thank you. May God bless you.

He leaves to mourn two daughter, Elaine E. Hudson of Boston, Ma. , Theresa A. McNeil (Henry) of Ellenwood, GA. , five sons, Glenn, Phillip (Licia), James (Daphne), and Sidney all of Boston, Ma.

, Gerald (Ronelle) of Brandywine, Maryland. Lafayette, Jr.(deceased), Lonell, Sr.(deceased), Alvin, Sr.(deceased), Evelyn Wilson (deceased), Janice M. Campbell (deceased). Three son-In-Laws: Elder James T. Wilson, Sr. (Burgaw, N.C.), Roosevelt Campbell (Boston, Ma.

), Henry L. McNeil (Ellenwood, G.A.), also 42 Grandchildren, a host of Greatgrands and Great great-grands. Three sisters: Josephine and Gertrude of Philadelphia, PA. , and Naomi of New Jersey.

Three Sister-In-Laws: Naomi Howard and Elnora Wilson of Boston, MA. , Francis Holloman of Tifton, GA. , and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives.

There will be a Viewing on Saturday February 23, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00am followed by Funeral Service at 11:00 O’clock at State Temple Church of God in Christ, 16 Fessenden Street, Mattapan, MA 02126. Interment: Mt.
