LAFERMONT SEALEY, age 85, born May 15, 1933 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, departed this life unexpectedly Saturday, June 30, 2018. He served in the United States Navy and later relocated to Dayton, Ohio. He was an employee at NCR and General Motors.

He united with Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. John F. Cunningham.

Lamont was a loving, caring, and compassionate person, who would do anything for anyone. He loved working on cars, cooking, singing, dancing, music, and sports. Preceded in death by his father, Willie Sealey and mother, Maggie Price; 1st wife, Lora Sealey; brother, Larry Sealey; sisters, Videll Walker, Evelyn Crooms, Margie Cooper; son, Eric (Sharon) Sealey; stepsons, Augustine Cabral III, Darryl Cabral.

He leaves to cherish: his loving wife, Nada Schumpert; daughters, Eula Duncan of Memphis, TN, Angie Heard of Jacksonville, FL, Yvette (Fred) Clement; sons, LaFermont Jr. (Judy) Sealey, Rolondo Sealey; stepchildren, Kenya Schumpert, Eugene (Gloria) Schumpert, Gary Cabral, Augustina Cabral; 26 grandchildren, including special granddaughters, Ericka Sealey and Chantea Mosley of Oklahoma City, Ok; special cousin, Deana Richey of Columbus, OH; special friend & mother, Catherine Hunter; special doctor, Thomas, Cheryl Carmody; special friends, Cheryl Roberson, Geraldine Booker, Pat Mathews; special dog, Sassy; numerous great grandchildren, family and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Mt. Enon M. B. Church, 1501 W. Third St. Pastor Cory Pruitt officiating.

Family will receive friends 10-11 am. Interment Dayton National Cemetery.
