Laila’s Obituary Laila Cichosz (nee Hendrickson) was born on February 3, 1923 in Kearsarge, MI and passed away on February 3, 2019 in Royal Oak, MI at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late John Cichosz. Loving mother of Mary Ellen (Stan) Erickson, Deborah Morgan, Greg (Judy), James (Jen), Tim (Marie), Aaron (Lori), Jeff (Winnie) and Richard (Becky); 65 grandchildren, 154 great-grandchildren, one great-great- grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is survived by Sivert Hendrickson and Anna Mae Koski. Preceding her in death were five brothers, four sisters, one son-in-law, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Laila was a lifelong member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church.

Visitation and the funeral service will be held at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, 34100 W. Eight Mile Road, Farmington Hills. Visitation will be on Friday, February 8th from 3-8 pm and the funeral service on Saturday, February 9th at 11 am. The family requests no flowers.
