Funeral Services for Landis E. Miller age 93, of Grand River will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville, Ohio. Family and friends may call 4:00-7:00 PM, Monday, May 7th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Landis was born August 29, 1924 in Willard, Ohio to John T. and Mary E. (Foltz) Miller. He passed away May 2, 2018 at Grand River Heath and Rehab in Painesville. He served in the U. S. Army during WW II.

He was employed by Diamond Shamrock for 36 years and then went on to work for the City of Painesville in the Water Dept. for 12 years. Landis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening…he specialized in growing sweet potatoes.

Landis is survived by his son, Mark J. Miller of Grand River; brothers, Elton (Beverly) Miller, Noah “Tom” (Else) Miller and many nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel (Bystrom) Miller, his parents; brother Richard Miller; sister, Eunice Miller. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Grand River Fire Department 205 Singer Ave.
