Mr. Landis H. (Lanny) Sewell, 79, of Anniston, Alabama, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Northside Health Care in Gadsden, Alabama. Mr. Sewell was born January 3, 1939, in Montgomery, Alabama, son of the late Herbert and Lurline Bowen Sewell. He attended the University of Alabama and retired as an electrical engineer after working for a number of years for Chrysler Corporation, Magic Chef, and the Huntsville Space Center.
