Obituary for Mrs. LaRitta Adeline Swanson LaRitta Swanson b. 3/3/31 Eveleth, MN d. 10/15/18 Hopkins, MN 87yrs She went to be with God on October 15, 2018, after a hard fought battle with cancer. She grew up in Mountain Iron, MN. Married for 67+ years.

Preceded in death by her parents Sulo & Adeline Pernu, step father Alvin Pernu, brother Alden Pernu & wife Barbara, sister Maxine & husband William Ferrell, brother Richard Pernu & wife Geri, niece, Susan Ferrell-Stout, nephew Greg Pernu, nephew David Pernu, and brother & sister in-law Darrel & wife Phyllis Swanson. She is Survived by husband Bruce Swanson; son Bryan & wife Suzi Swanson, their children Robert Swanson, Samantha & husband Connor Roberts, 2 great-grand children Brooke & Adeline, and sister Joanne & husband Thomas Heyd. She loved her 20+ years working for the Hopkins School District, and working with the students.

After she retired, LaRitta & Bruce were involved in theater near Danbury, WI. Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 2:00 PM at Augustana Chapel View Health Care Center, with visitation one hour before, and a reception immediately following the service.

Augustana Chapel View Senior Care Center. 615 Minnetonka Mills Road Hopkins, MN 55343 Burial will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
