OBITUARY Larry Blum August 1, 1956 – January 8, 2019 HOWELL – Larry Blum died Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. He was 62. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he resided Howell, NJ with his family for 30 years.

He worked as a Service Manager for Mendon Truck Leasing Corp. for 44 years, having started at just 18 years old. Larry was a sports fan and an avid fan of the Giants and Yankees.

He also coached his childrens’ sports teams. He loved to travel and go to restaurants – he especially loved BBQ food. A man of few words, he communicated quietly and with thought.

Larry was a loving, caring, and patient husband and father who will be truly missed. He was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Elaine; his uncle, “Normie”; and his brother-in-law, Richie. Surviving is his loving wife of 37 years, Christina; 3 children: Scott and his wife, Caitlin, Jason and his wife, Kristen, and Michelle; 4 grandchildren: Parker, Kalliope, Maxwell, and Cora; 2 brothers: Barry and Mitchell and his wife, Carmen; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11AM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, NJ. Cremation will be private. For more information, or to post a tribute online, please visit www.
