Services for Larry Ciccarelli, 70, Peace Officer, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Ken May officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00pm – 2:00pm prior to the Funeral Service at First Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Lacy Funeral Home.

Larry was born in Bramenhaven, Germany on December 26, 1947 at a military base to parents Lawrence and Brenda Ciccarelli. He married Debra Stem on October 5, 1990 in Austin, blending a family of 3 boys including David Ciccarelli, Jason Ciccarelli & Justin Hurt. He deeply loved his family and looked forward to every encounter with his grandchildren.

He served as Command Sgt Major Texas Guard for 14 years, serving under Gov. Rick Perry, in the US Army as a Military Policemen during Vietnam for 3 years. He served as a Lineman for the City of Austin for about 5 years, and worked for USPS for 23 years in Georgetown and Austin.

Larry worked as a police officer in Hico, Texas for 1 year, DeLeon school re officer for 2 years, and served as the Erath County Constable Precinct 1 for 14 years. Survivors include Wife Debra Ciccarelli, Sons & Daughters-in-law, David Ciccarelli & wife Kyle, Jason Ciccarelli, of Stephenville, Justin Hurt & wife Faith of Granbury. Grandchildren, Chelsea Ciccarelli of Arlington, Brianna Hurt, Noah Hurt, Layla Ann Hurt & Ezra Hurt.

Andrew Topping and Matthew Ciccarelli; Great-grandchild Roderick. He is also survived by his Mother, Brenda Ciccarelli of Belton; Brothers, Frank Ciccarelli, CA, Mike Ciccarelli and wife, Marlene of Austin, Joe Ciccarelli and wife, Donna of Austin. Sister Maria Walden and husband Quentin.

He was preceded in death by daughter Jennifer, father Lawrence, sister Patricia and brother John. If you were a friend of Larry, you had a strong relationship for life. He defended his friends and had an uncanny nack for being close by whenever you needed him most.

He was a Patriot of Freedom, strong supporter of the US Constitution & State of Texas with firm belief in Christian conservative values. Larry was a true Patriot of this nation and the state of Texas. He spoke with authority and held true to his conservative values.

He was strong and courageous, held respect of the nation, the constitution and held liberty in highest regard. Friendship was important to him and he would do anything to help a friend. Larry worked well under pressure as evidenced when Gov Rick Perry called him into work in the State Guard during Hurricane Katrina.
