Obituary for Larry E. Snider Larry E. Snider age 70 of Arlington, died at Fox Run Manor, Findlay on Tuesday May 8, 2018 at 9:32am. He was born on May 12, 1947 in Kenton, OH to Burton and Helen L. (Spencer) Snider. He married Barbara Cook on July 2, 1986 and she survives in Arlington.
Mr. Snider is survived by his children Tammy (Brad) Spoon, Tammy Frazier, Kelly (John) Buerger, Ken (Michelle) Cook, Amy, Cook, Jeff Snider, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sister Diane Sellars Harmon, brothers Robert (Dixie) Fout, William (Vicki) Fout, mother-in-law Martha Hodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, step father Allen (Gene) Fout, father-in-law Donald Hodge. Larry graduated from Riverdale High school class of 1965 and was an Air Force Veteran.
He worked at UAP for 20 years and was owner/operator of his construction business for 2 years. Larry was in auto management for 20 years at Wal-Mart in Port Clinton. For hobbies he enjoyed camping, fishing, woodworking, hunting especially arrowheads.
He was a carpenter and built houses and race cars. Larry had a love for the breed of boxers. Mr. Snider was a driven, detailed man with a life lived full.
Family will receive friends on Saturday May 12, 2018 from 10:00am until 1:00pm at Clark Shields Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday May 12, 2018 at 1:00pm in the funeral home with Jim Riggs officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by McVitty VFW Post #1182, American Legion #259 both of Forest, AmVets Post #1994 of Kenton at Eagle Creek Cemetery.
