He was born in Mt. Sterling on Oct. 28, 1944 to Harold and Mabel (Downs) Wade who preceded him in death.

Larry is survived by his wife Dorothy, children Mary Wade and Nancy (Cary) Rice, grandchildren Bianca (Justin) Puckett, and Tyler Rice, great grandchildren Hunter and Jayce, and a sister Linda (Steve) Swyers. Larry was preceded in death by a brother Gary. He was a Corrections Officer at London Correctional for 25 years and was a Veteran of the US Army.

Visitation will be held from 11AM to 1PM on Friday Dec. 28, 2018 at the PORTER TIDD FUNERAL HOME 331 W. Main St. Mt. Sterling, OH where a funeral service will begin at 1PM.
